We, the Computer Science and Engineering Department of MACE is completing its successful 20 years of excellence in technical education by this year.On this occasion the Computer Association of MACE is planning to bring out a souvenir by this March. All the staffs ,students and alumni s are invited to publish their technical articles. Also wishes of different pass-out batches are invited. Your batch photo can also be dedicated.We need a minimum of Rs 25,000 to make this endeavor a real thing.The souvenir will be distributed to the entire college mass including the staffs.So it will be a matter of pride for our department to bring out such a thing.We expect you all will co-operate with pleasure.

Dear Alumni members,
Prof . A.V Zacharia (Mechanical Engg. Department, MACE) is suffering from a rare form of Liver Disease in which the liver stops the absorption of proteins. His condition is life threatening and now he want expensive medication costing Rs. 15,000 per day to survive. The only remedy to this disease is liver transplantation which costs around Rs. 30 Lakhs. There is a 3 months waiting time for liver transplant. His present financial situation is very bad and requires urgent financial help.
Many of the alumni members have encountered similar situations and their respective batch students were helped those members. Such situations can repeat in future also. Considering all these the MACE alumni association parent chapter has started a charity account in the names of The President and Treasurer, MACE Alumni Association at SBT Kothamangalam branch. The account No. 67101864845. MACE Alumni Association parent chapter humbly request all members to help Dr. A.V Zacharia as much as possible. All contributions should be made in the names of The President and Treasurer, MACE Alumni Association.
It is gratefully acknowledged that the 1991 batch of MACE students under the leadership of Sri. Paul Mathew (1991 Mechanical), has officially informed the parent chapter that they are collecting a fund among their batch mates, for the purpose of helping Prof. Dr. A.V. Zacharia.

Mar Athanasius College of Engineering is bringing out its official college magazine for the academic year 2009-10. We aim to bring out the creative and literary skills of our students to the fore.
This is going to be the third year in succession that our college is going to bring out the magazine. We expect to raise the bar with each attempt. Also the magazine enhances the reputation of our college and becomes the voice of students in expressing their views.
We estimate the total cost for bringing out the magazine at 2 lakhs. We expect to raise this amount through sponsorship and student/alumni contributions similar to the previous years.

This year mechanical engineeirng department of MACE have decided to conduct a techfest. The name decided is YANTHRA. unlike nitrous which was purely an autoexpo, this aims to bring the participation of all colleges especialy engineering and polytechnic. Proposed dates are 25th and 26th of september.
