DOB format could be confusing . In india we are not used to mm/dd/yyyy format. If we plan to stick with mm/dd/yyyy format then we shdnt allow people to have a value >12 in mm column! Great job guys...

Exactly.We want to make sure that mailids in this site to be taken for spam mails.So though members can sent mails to each other once they login to the site, they will not be able to get the mailids

its a great attempt...!
suggestions:
1. Hide the email id. in the guestbook field.
just imagine when search engines browse this site, they will get the id's and its spam heaven then.use the login id as a token instead of having email id.

1.Email- id validation done where email id is entered is really a pain, better do the validation at the time of submit only.
